Manta Interiors, a leading fit-out company based on City Road, London, is just as excited as the local workers and residents in the area because of a new gym that has been developed. Recently a deal has been secured for London’s first UFC Gym, bringing a new fitness destination to everyone near Old Street station. This brand extension of UFC, the renowned mixed martial arts organisation, will occupy a spacious 7,500 square feet site, marking its third UFC Gym in the UK. With over 170 locations opened since its inception in 2009, UFC Gym continues to expand its reach.
Scheduled to open this summer, the new club will be situated within The Arc, a development project on City Road by Ghelamco, a Belgium-based property firm. The Arc encompasses a mix of offices and homes, providing an ideal setting for the establishment of this fitness facility. Apart from offering a wide range of classes and state-of-the-art fitness equipment, the branch will also house a café and physiotherapy facilities, ensuring a comprehensive fitness experience for its members.
Expressing enthusiasm for the venture, Tom Burke, head of openings at UFC Gym UK, stated, “London was an obvious target location.” Manta Interiors agrees that the location is an obvious one and our staff look forward to frequenting the new UFC premises being that it is situated on the same street as our head offices.
Meanwhile, Marie-Julie Gheysens, head of UK international business development at Ghelamco, expressed her satisfaction in partnering with a globally recognised fitness brand known for its innovative approach. She eagerly anticipates the launch of their first London sites together as do Manta Interiors, City Roads fit out specialist.
